28th November

Absolutely whacked again today, but Sandra is back so I have had my little giggly moments!

Yep, our air vents gave rise to many
a giggle today!

I am bright as a button first thing in the morning!
Up at 05.30,
On the motor way at 06.30,
at work by 07.30, get stuff done.......
Coffee at 10.00ish.............
Another coffee at about 12ish......let's call it lunch.

Then it is slowly downhill, by 15.00hrs, I am well and truly ready for home.
Depending on the time I actually get out, arrive home between 16.00 and 17.00hrs.
Have a couple of wanders around the garden
Get changed, collapse on the couch,  with little Dougal, nibble a little on dinner,  some more wanders around the garden, bed at 21.00hrs.

I need to wander around the garden because I get so very hot, so I have to cool down.

Ho hum.....such is life, I dare say that all of you readers feel exact;y the same!

Well, let's wish for a BIG lottery win.............just remember,

It's MY turn!
Lol!

26th November - Evening time

Well, I am feeling a bit rough this evening.
I feel nauseous and dizzy.
And oh, so very tired!

The dizziness may be connected to the ear/neck pain that I had earlier.........
The nausea too, I suspect.

Well, I guess that just because you have cancer you are not immune to all the other aches, pains and ailments that are out there ready to pounce at any time.

Feeling low after last week at work wont have helped.........................

I have been thinking about why last week at work drained me so, and I have come up with a reason!!!!!! Eat your heart out Miss Marple!

Sandra, my dear friend, and the cleaner at where I work, has been on annual leave all week. There are only the 2 of us working there.

She and I share positive moments, conversation, laughs............moments of respite from the usual days verbal interactions.

Without that, there is little to 'lift' my spirit during the day.

Don't misunderstand me, I love my job, and the people that I work with do pay for me to support them, however, without the light hearted banter peppered through out the day it does tend to feel like there is a wall of complaints and problems that has to be climbed on a daily basis.

Sandra is back on Monday, so all will be well.
Sandra has actually shared that on the days that I am not there, she also feels like she is sweeping water up hill too!

The conclusion???????
It takes two, Babe!

HER: One can have a dream, baby
HIM: Two can make that dream so real
HER: One can talk about bein' in love
HIM: Two can say how it really feels
HER: One can wish upon a star
HIM: Two can make that wish come true, yeah
HER: One can stand alone in the dark
HIM: Two can make the light shine through

CHORUS (BOTH):
It takes two, baby
It takes two, baby
Me and you, just takes two
It takes two, baby
It takes two, baby
To make a dream come true, just takes two

HER: One can have a broken heart, livin' in misery
HIM: Two can really ease the pain like a perfect remedy
HER: One can be alone in a car, on a night like these all alone
HIM: Two can make just any place seem just like bein' at home

(chorus)
(instrumental)

Just takes two, just takes two

HER: One can go out to a movie, lookin' for a special treat
HIM: Two can make that single movie somethin' really kinda sweet
HER: One can take a walk in the moonlight, thinkin' that it's really nice
HIM: But two walkin' hand-in-hand is like addin' just a pinch of spice

(repeat chorus and fade)

26th November

I slept like a brick last night.....and I wasn't the first up!
Can't remember that ever happening before.

I am still tired though, I may pop back to bed in a bit.

I had a piece of toast this morning, and out of the blue...no apparent reason.........
The pain in my left jaw and part of my neck just below was excruciating!
I think that it worse, because it was so unexpected!
Couldn't take another bite.

I will know that it may happen the next time I try to eat, and prepare.....mind over matter and all that!

I am sweating quite a lot, not all of the time. Mainly first thing in the morning.
I have a shower, and go and dressed. I need to take a towel in with me because I need to mop up. Then I use wipes to cool down and clean the sweat off. I have tried getting in the shower again, but it doesn't work. Just end up in the same position.

I get very hot in bed. As I mentioned earlier, I bought a new quilt.....4 tog instead of the 13 tog I had. I keep all of the windows wide open all night. This has reduced the amount of times that I wake in the night in a hot sweat, so that is good.

Yep, that is about right for me to sleep comfortably these days! Lol!

Well, I suppose I had better get some of my chores done and sort the washing out, then, if I still feel like it, I will pop back to bed.

Dougal is feeling a lot better, he is bouncing around every where, and showing his affection.....great to see him back to himself!
