OK, what can I say........
Yesterday, I went to take Dougal for a haircut.
Jacky came with me, to see if her dog, (George), could have his nails clipped.

As you know Claire also has a dog, a black Labrador called Tilda.
Tilda reminds me of Tigger from Winnie The Pooh.
Tilda is,
'Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy,
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tilda,
Is shee's the only one!
Yes, Sheeeeeeeeeee's the only one!

Tilda look a like!

Couldn't find a black lab in a tigger suit.

Back to Jacky and George.
George is a rescue dog, that was sent to the Midlands from Scotland, because he was scared of the wind.
Since Jacky has had him, he is also scared of:-
Well, everything...far too much to list.

Jacky has taken him to Psychiatrists, psychologists, vets, animal behaviourist, to little avail.
He is a beautiful lassie type collie cross.

Anyway, I digress.
As I was taking Dougal for a 'pawdicure' and other grooming stuff, Jacky and George came too. Jacky is unable to trim his paws because he wont let her.
We thought that the groomers may have more joy.

HA!

Not a bloody chance!

First one groomer came, George was muzzled,
Jacky assisted. Any one would think that he was being beaten with a crow bar!
Then, George was taken into the parlour 'proper' and had a muzzle and two groomers!

The long and the short of it, is that George left with claws as long as before, and the Groomers scared for their own health, and George's health. The were concerned that he may have a heart attack!
The row that he made I thought that some one had actually cut his leg off!

Well, I had a text from Jacky this morning, and George had his pawdicure at the vet today.

I have visions of the vet having to wrestle him to the ground, and a veterinary assistant having to throw herself on him to hold him down, whilst some one else came and actually cut his nails.

Not quite the 'Vet Wrestles Dog' pic I was looking for, but hey ho!

Makes you wonder what George's life was like before Jacky took him on. He is a great dog, and so handsome. I am sure that another few months being loved and he will be as right as nine pence.

Of course, Dougal behaved as only 'La Creme De La Creme' can. Lol!

I do have a picture of him actually having his hair done, but I have to get it off of my phone first.

OK............
A bit about me now................
More pain, more tired, I have increased the morphine again, so far so good.
Speaking with lady from production company tomorrow.....(got me days wrong again, not today).

Harvey, my drum instructor will be coming to me from now on, starting Monday, I am a bit squiffy in the mornings.

I am off to see the new garden at my work place tomorrow, and then out to dinner with my friends.....(if Claire and Tilda are still speaking to me after likening Tilda to Tigger...lol!)

Dogs are the very best for stories to make you smile. Poor fellow wasn’t into the personal grooming – can’t blame him entirely. I’ve never quite been able to trust the aesthetician with her manicure clippers!
